Brother in Christ
This morning Manik and I went to the doctor. Don't panic, we are fine. It's just that the Singapore Bible College wants Manik to present a health check to them (don't know what that have to do with the study he's going to do, is it because they are afraid that people might get ill or die suddenly before they pay the full tuition fee?).
Anyways, so we head towards the clinic near St. Paul's church.
It took us about 15 mins of waiting to see Dr. Chew. Dr. Chew is a very nice man, he congratulated us on our marriage, and chatted with us casually about our work while he examined Manik.
After hearing that we are not sent by any 'big' Christian organizations, he recommanded us to check out the International Christian Fellowship website before we go church planting in order to make some missionary friends while we are abroad.
This is the second time we came to see Dr. Chew. He didn't charge anything from the checkup he did the last time. So it was this time. He said that he can handle it and asked us not to worry since we have other costs to worry about. What a great Christian brother! Manik and I are very touched and we hope we can do the same for others, helping others as much as we can.
