Hot Hot...
This was made for our neighbors, an Indian family.
They were very kind, even though they are not Christians, they gave us Christmas gifts.
So I decided to bake some chocolate cookies in return...
It's the first time I use this recipe, not bad, not too sweet at all~

Christmas Meal!
Here's the ultimate Christmas Meal that Manik and I ever prepared...
It consisted of a honey roasted duck (with a recipe I found from the BBC website), roast potatos with thyme butter, garlic butter Frend bread, fresh salad with yogurt dressing (which I invented), old-fashioned boil carrots, onion gravy (again, I invented that), cranberry sauce and Manik's homemade mulled wine.
This is the first time we had duck on Christmas (the past few Christmases in England, Manik and I usually cooked smaller bird, one year a small chicken, another year was quail or pheasant...something like that :p). It was also mum and dad's first time to have duck for Christmas.
It took us more than 2 and a half hours to cook this whole meal, and as you can imagine, after the meal, we had a good long nap...hehehe...
It was great to accomplish something new again. Afterall, life is a challenge, isn't it?!
